Press release from the East Baton Rouge Parish School System: Press Release Mar. 1 2021 Superintendent Dr. Sito Narcisse is requesting nominations for the Parent Advisory Council "We want to hear from as many people as possible about what we can be doing better, what we're doing well, and where they might need more resources to support their child's learning in the home," said Dr. Narcisse. "In order to be a district focused on every student, in every classroom, every day, we need to hear from those closest to the children, and I am excited to learn more from the families we serve." The purpose of the EBRPSS Parent Advisory Council is to connect and empower groups of stakeholders through focused discussions and collaboration. The council will cover a wide array of topics such as improved college and career readiness strategies; social and emotional learning; safe and healthy school environments; and comprehensive student support services.
