Don Childrey is the author of the "Uwharrie Lakes Region Trail Guide", the best resource for Uwharrie hikers and bikers! In celebration of the "International Day of Forests" on Sunday, March 21st, Don Childrey will join participants on a 2.3 mile hike on Denson's Creek Trail, in the Uwharrie National Forest. He will be at the Discover Uwharrie Welcome Center from 10:30am - 12:30pm for a "meet and greet" just prior to the hike. *A mask is required for the "meet and greet".
