GREAT OPPORTUNITIES WITH QUICK STARTS TO WORK FOR AN ESSENTIAL AND EXCELLENT COMPANY - Please look below & CALL FOR DETAILS!!!! **Please submit resume and call Liz @ 951-526-9402 WE HAVE THE FOLLOWING OPENINGS & Shifts: **Must be able to pass background 1) Production Planner/Buyer M-F 4:30PM – 3:00AM 2) Material Handlers - Must have experience in warehouse, shipping/receiving, production/mfg., and have a great work ethic!! - Two locations: - Oceanside - M-F 7am-4:30pm (hours may vary) - Carlsbad - M-F (flex to work weekends & OT) 1st & 2nd shift 1) Production Planner/Buyer - ($50+K/yr. DOE) Responsible for the scheduling of jobs, ordering of all materials and workflow steps related to production. You will be responsible for the collection, validation and distribution of accurate information related to scheduling and material constraints. Internally, you will work with team members across various departments to determine specifications and objectives to meet manufacturing timelines and inventory cost objectives. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: • Generate and distribute timely & accurate production schedules in response to changing operating variables and customer requirements • Review current material requirements and purchase product to meet those needs • Maintain records in accordance with company standards • Review and where necessary suggest new methodologies to support planning and purchasing objectives in the overall production process • Build and maintain strong relationships within both the organization as well as external suppliers • Define programs to track inventory and build awareness where needed • Review, refine, and deliver standardized procedures to support cost saving initiatives • Facilitate cross-functional processes to effectively manage on-time objectives with particular focus on reducing overtime while meeting our customers’ needs • Coordinate internal meetings with appropriate personnel on policies, procedures & objectives where needed to improve scheduling and purchasing. • Track, manage, and publish various departmental reports including metrics, scorecards, cost analysis, overtime, efficiency and delivered costs QUALIFICATIONS: • Minimum of 4 years of related experience in inventory control • AA Degree or equivalent in experience • Demonstrated knowledge of scheduling methodologies • Good organization skills, attention to detail, coordination, and planning • Ability to manage the completion of deliverables, identify and solve problems • Proactively challenge the team to consider new alternatives and drive critical thinking to optimize scheduling efficiencies • Ability to lead and manage cross-functional processes to closure • Ability to perform in a fast-paced, goal-oriented, and time-sensitive environment 2)MATERIAL HANDLERS - ($15-18/hr.) DOE M-F (flex to work OT maybe some Saturdays) Shifts: 1st shift– 8am to 4:30pm 2nd shift- 2:30pm to 11:00pm POSITION SUMMARY: • Perform various routine physical tasks involved in one or more of the following: receiving, storing, packaging, shipping, or distributing of materials, parts, supplies, and/or equipment. • Set up racking nomenclature. • Kit manufacturing production runs. • Prepare and maintain prescribed records, reports, and documentation accurately and neatly. • Perform all material stocking, assembly, customer service, data entry, and clerical functions as needed. • Adhere to prescribed safety and quality standards and all written procedures and work instructions. • Maintain a neat and orderly work area. REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE: • Experience in Warehouse, receiving, and shipping along with some experience in manufacturing. • International shipping experience is a plus. • Demonstrated computer proficiency using an ERP system, spreadsheet, and word processing software. • Ability to work independently under general guidelines and supervision. • Effective interpersonal skills. • Strong organizational skills. • Must be detail-oriented. • Must be able to read, write and verbally communicate in English. • Ability to interface well with cross-functional teammates.
