Below is a summary of COVID-19 data on Tuesday for Oconee and Clarke counties and for the entire 10-county Northeast Health District. The Northeast Health District added 252 new cases of COVID-19, pushing up again the seven-day rolling average of added cases.The seven-day rolling average of added cases also increased in both Oconee and Clarke counties.The District added two new confirmed deaths from COVID-19, and the seven-day rolling average of added deaths from the disease fell.The number of COVID-19 patients in area hospitals has now declined for seven days in a row.The Northeast Health District added 1,577 vaccinations, and the number of administered second doses of the vaccines represents 4.9 percent of the District's population.For details and for state comparisons, please click through to Oconee County Observations.
