Come join us to learn to make the old new! Breathe new life into an old family heirloom, a yard sale find, or that end table that has never matched anything! BYOP Painting 101 with Dixie Belle Chalk Mineral Paint. Learn how easy painting can be. I will provide step-by-step instruction on prepping your piece, painting techniques using Dixie Belle Chalk Mineral Paint, how to distress, and basic finishing techniques. Tips for what to bring: 1. The piece should not be any larger than 2 ft. x 2 ft. x 2 ft. 2. The piece must be cleaned before class. We suggest using TSP which is a painter's prep. (DAWN, Murphy's Oil Soap, etc. are not acceptable cleaners as they leave either a silicone or oil residue.) 3. You must be able to carry the piece yourself back in and of course back out to your car. Suggested items for this class are: - Small end table - Picture or mirror frames (limit to two) - Plant stand - Ceramic Pot - Lamp Each class participant will receive their own 8 oz jar of chalk mineral paint ($12.95 value) in the color of their choice, a Dixie Belle Premium Chip Brush ($6 value) and a couple other goodies. We do not offer refunds for missed classes, but we will gladly reschedule you for another class. We limit class sizes to no more than 4 people in order to provide each "student" with one-on-one attention and to accommodate social distancing.
