Wood door refinishing company seeks someone who desires to increase their experience in a specialized, skilled trade. Or, would like to learn a new trade with on the job training. This position is for the person who takes pride in what they accomplish, may be a craftsperson, is a go getter, and is attentive to detail. We are looking for someone who is excited about the growth of an established, specialized home improvement company and their own potential growth and rewards. There is a growth path to become a crew leader, if you desire. Requirements: Someone who is reliable, responsible, punctual, and trustworthy Finishing experience is a plus Working with stains, finish and wood is a plus Enjoy working outdoors Has some skill or keen interest in woodworking Ability to lift, with assistance, heavy doors Takes direction and thinks on their feet Organized Typical Day: Arrive on job at 6:00am or at the time requested by supervisor Interaction with client as necessary Setting up work area Assist with removal of door Continually keeping things organized and clean Assist with sanding, spraying, or finishing Assist with hanging of door Clean-up of work area Ensuring all tools are accounted for and stored properly in their designated place Maintain safe working environment and upon completion of day's work ensure job site is clean and clear of debris. Maintain inventory on truck Position starts immediately, is hourly and compensation will be based on skill. Work week is generally Monday -- Friday with occasional required Saturdays.
