Pedroia & Sons Inc is looking for dependable, self-motivated, and safety minded employees that can follow procedures and guidelines. Must be reliable and willing to work extremely hard and have a great work ethic! Construction Laborers: Work includes digging and shoring trenches, underground utilities assembly/placement, material compaction, asphalt paving, extensive grading, and other excavation related work. Applicants must have ability, and will be required, to lift (75lbs), bend and stand regularly, and walk on uneven terrain such as slopes. Must also have a valid, clean driver's license acceptable to our insurer. Class A Driver: Looking for an individual who has 2 years construction driving experience. Must have ability, and will be required, to lift (75lbs), bend and stand regularly, and walk on uneven terrain such as slopes. When driving isn't needed will be operating equipment or general labor. Must be 21 years of age, possess a current CA Class "A", have a valid, clean DMV record, have current medical examination certification, be able to manage time efficiently and perform to deadlines. Heavy Equipment Operator: The above position and operate several types of construction equipment such as motor graders, scraper, excavator, bobcat, compactor, roller, water truck, backhoe, skip loader, hand tools and labor.
