SCOOP TECHNICIAN JOB DESCRIPTION: Full Job Description MUST LOVE DOGS - Professional Pooper Scooper Are you reliable? Like working outdoors? Can provide excellent customer service? Enjoy working with doggies in the yard? Do you want to stay fit and have flexibility in your schedule? *** LOTS OF WALKING AND LIFTING Compensation: $16.00 per hour to start, with potential earnings to $18/hr after 90 day review Benefits: Health/Dental insurance after 90 days Hours: Approximately 30-40 total hours completed over the course of Monday - Friday week. Transportation: You will drive our Company Truck. However, you might use personal transportation with a gas stipend temporarily Landscaping/Lawn Care experience highly preferred but not required! Location: Spokane/CDA/Post Falls/Rathdrum/Hayden We are seeking a friendly and responsible pooper scooper to drive from site to site (residential homes) to clean dog waste from each client's yard. Tools, equipment, supplies, route, GPS, etc provided. Uniform hats, shirts issued but you will provide your own pants, coats, safe footwear and a working smartphone. We are looking for long term committed employees. We will provide complete training. You just need to love dogs, provide positive client interaction, be responsible, punctual and hard working. You will be working alone, with little direct supervision. And please realize that of course, working outside means working in ALL WEATHER CONDITIONS. Unless there is thunder and lightning (or other unsafe condition), we will be working - rain, sun, hot and cold. By nature of the job, you will be interacting, via tools & trash bags, with pet waste. Of course there is some odor and natural associated elements that you will encounter. Bonuses are available for good customer service, new client leads, and a job well done. Must love dogs of all kinds and not be afraid of large or barking dogs. Experience with dogs preferred, but does not need to have been through previous employment. (We do not work if a client is known to have an aggressive dog, but we do interact with excited, sometimes jumping, dogs every single day. Must have a clean driving and criminal record. Must be willing to work outside in all weather and lift @ 40 pounds, be a good, safe driver and not mind long routes. A good sense of humor and pleasant disposition would suit you well in this job. It can be physically demanding and fast paced, but we have a great team and lovely clients and it is imperative for us to give them great customer service and a job well done. Must be honest, hard-working, clean, efficient and enjoy the outdoors Must be able to read, write and follow detailed instructions, and must be able to communicate clearly with clients and our office.
