I've been out of the music game for a while, but I've been dying to get back in making music with a band. In my mid teens through early 20's I played in several bands, I've done a bunch of shows at various places (living room, fiddler's green, safari lounge, and some other places that are no longer in existence lol) I stopped in my mid 20's because I got a new job and my work schedule and band schedule didn't mix. Now at 40 my life and work schedule are normal and it's time to get back into my passion. As for my style, I'm more of a melodic singer. I love speed, thrash, and death metal, but I don't have the chops for the screaming. Ideally, I'd love a situation with 2 singers, a screamer and a clean vocalist (Like Dance Gavin Dance). My major influence is Tool, my favorite band of all time. I also get influence from A Perfect Circle, Deftones, Taproot, Flaw, System of a Down, Twelve Foot Ninja, 311, Faith No More, Rush, Sevendust, and the list goes on and on.
