Female spayed cat to home without other cats

A friend moved out of state and we took her cat, thinking she would eventually get used to our other cats. She isn't getting along with our male and is pretty stressed out. She had been an in/out cat at her house but at ours, mostly in the basement to keep separated from our male. We have tried her outside as well but they still argue.. so a home with no other cats is probably better but dogs seem okay. We have been trying for months and it isn't working. I don't know her age, etc. off hand.. but maybe 5 yr. Her prior owner can get you vet info as well. We can bring her to your house if you need. She is a smaller cat - grey with some calico bits.. thanks! I can send u pics if interested in a new friend!
