The primary responsibility of the Warehouse Assistant is to ensure EPL’s warehouse is in order and to unload/load job trailers with the following week’s needed material. The position will report directly to the Operations Coordinator. This position is a flexible part-time position but with Friday availability mandatory. This position will require a fair amount of physical labor moving pallets and lighting materials, loading/unloading work vehicles and trailers weekly, and organizing/tidying warehouse and project supplies as needed. We expect the Warehouse Assistant to be needed a minimum of 8 hours/week, up to a maximum of 20/hours per week. Who this position would be perfect for: A person who is looking for a few extra hours a week, is available 8am-5pm Fridays, and would like extra hours on a flexible basis as needed Monday-Thursday. Basic Microsoft knowledge, especially Excel, would be great but not necessary as there is potential to assist with additional operational office duties if desired. The Warehouse Assistant is directly responsible for the following; • Maintains warehouse cleanliness and organization. • Stages job materials for easy loading and transportation to job sites. • Loads/Unloads all products, materials, consumables and/or equipment (small tools, ladders, etc.) that go to and from jobsites • Manages and maintains all products, materials, consumables and/or equipment to minimize loss and maximize effectiveness. • Conducts himself/herself in a professional manner at all times and always makes decisions in the best interest of the company. • Handles refuse and recycling activities as directed by Operations Coordinator. • Completes necessary safety training. • Adheres to all EPL and/or governing safety requirements. • Drives company vehicle to and from projects as needed. • Maintains a clean driving record. • Maintains company vehicles and equipment as needed (gas, oil, tire pressure, etc.) Qualifications • Valid driver’s license with clean record. • Ability to work on ladders. • Ability to lift 50 pounds. • Ability to work on your feet 2-3 hours without a break. • Able to communicate well with people at all levels. • Self-driven and ability to work independently with minimal supervision. • Strong work ethic.
