Description
Green Diamond Resource Company is currently recruiting for a Weighmaster at our wood chip storage and shipping facility located on Humboldt Bay in Fairhaven. You will be required to become a certified Deputy Weigh Master. In addition you must maintain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential which is required when working at a marine terminal. Responsibilities include weighing chip trucks and taking samples of the wood chips to classify them through the drying process. You will interact with staff, vendors, contractors and customers on a regular basis. To work in this facility you must be willing to perform other duties to back up some of the other positions as needed. A key factor to working at this facility is the ability to be flexible especially when ships or other vessels come in to be loaded. We require a minimum of 1 year experience working in the forest products industry or another type of industrial setting.
