General Farm Laborers needed to work at several of our turkey farms throughout Ottawa County. This position is full-time, year-round, permanent, and includes many benefits (paid holidays, paid vacation, insurance, 401K). There is the possibility of provided housing, AFTER ONE YEAR OF EMPLOYMENT. Candidates must have reliable transportation, be able to lift at least 50 lbs, walk on uneven surfaces (litter), and work occasional weekends and evenings. Duties include: cleaning farm equipment, loading and unloading turkeys, driving tractors, skid loaders, Litter-Gitters, and skyjacks. Additionally, applicants will be responsible for complete care of the turkeys, from poults to maturation. Additional duties may be required. Some knowledge of computers is preferred, though not required. Some training is provided. Hours per farm vary somewhat, however, generally run from early morning to late afternoon, and average 50-55 hours per week. English language skills NOT required. Se habla espanol.
