The City Farmer is seeking a Garden Center Sales Associate who is a hard working team player that is willing to work in all outdoor elements and is not afraid to get dirty! This position is part-time. Tasks associated with this position may include, but are not limited to: - Customer Service and Sales Transactions. - Assistance and guidance for our customers plants and gardening needs. - Assisting with customers landscapes/planters and gardening projects. - Planting and caring for Nursery stock. - Assistance with unloading/loading trucks for deliveries Candidate MUST: - Have knowledge of plants. - Have excellent customer service skills. - Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. - Be willing to work Monday – Saturday (Closed Sunday). - Be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions for long periods of time - Be able to work independently as well as in a team environment - Be able to uphold company standards by providing excellent customer service and quality work - Maintain equipment and keep accurate records for all jobs Education & Experience: - High School or Equivalent Education - Two (2) Years Retail Experience Compensation: - Pay will be based on experience.
