Description
We're looking ahead to the end of this fucking pandemic. :-) QCR is a gigging/recording original roots rock band. Over this forced break, we shifted our bassist to 2nd guitar, so we're on the hunt for the next lady or gent who can rock the low end. If you're a bassist who's generally easygoing, comfortable with a bit of improvisation, and loves to play blues rock type stuff then we'd love to hear from you.
We do some covers too (and are open to more ideas that fit our sound!) but originals are the main focus. Our vibe is punchy, often with slide guitar, B3, harmonica, etc., just to give you a flavor of the thing.

Right now, our core is: lead vocals; 2 guitars; keys; some harp; and BU vox. (Two women and three men at the moment.) We have a dedicated practice space in LIC that we can use 2 nights a week as desired (Monday and Wednesday evenings) and have never had problems lining up shows (often paid, multi-set). We have a nice range of ages too--mid-20s to late-30s. Most of us enjoy a beer now and again and have no problem with smokers. The only associated cost is monthly rent (~$40) but the gigs usually covered that.
Hit us up with some samples and what you're all about!
