Spray Technician/Lawn Care Specialist This position is available to self-motivated individuals looking to join a growing company. Spray Tech will be tasked with managing all turf and ornamentals under contract. This position requires working alone and seasonally working with teams for aeration. This is a key position to ensure turf and plant quality for our customers. Taking ownership of sites assigned is an absolute must. Administrational Responsibilities: 1. Keep track of your daily times. Ensure times are accurate before turning them in. 2. Ensure weekly inspections are completed on assigned trucks, trailer, and equipment. Any discrepancies, broken equipment, missing equipment, etc. are reported to your manager. 3. Ensure proper notifications are left behind with residential customers following visits. 4. Keep track of chemicals and materials used as well as inventory on hand. Operational Responsibilities: 1. Conduct annual soil testing on accounts. 2. Spread granular fertilizer and lime by spreader. 3. Apply herbicides and fungicides by skid sprayer. 4. Aeration of Warm & Cool Season grasses. 5. Some application will require the use of a back pack sprayer. 6. Practice safe handling, mixing, and transportation of materials. 7. Take ownership of the accounts that are assigned to your route. Being proactive in identifying current or potential problems around your sites. 8. Report any damage to landscape (damaged trees, declining plant material; including turf) to your manager immediately. 9. Perform assigned property maintenance contract requirements in a timely manner, according to production expectations, and customer service standards on a daily basis. 10. Ensure assigned equipment is in safe working order by performing basic preventive maintenance. Requirements: 1. Turf & Weed Identification 2. Disease & Insect Identification 3. Minimum of high school diploma. 4. Applicators license are preferred but not required. (You will be required to obtain one within the first 180 days) 5. Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience related to turf & ornamental applications. 6. Must have a clean NCDL. 7. Must pass a drug test and background check. 8. Must be proficient with required equipment and tools to complete assigned work. 9. Must have the ability to follow all company polices. 10. Must have the ability to pass safety, driver, and training courses within 180 day probationary period. 11. Must poses the ability to lift 50lbs on a regular basis and up to 80lbs on occasion. Landscape Maintenance Foreman Position This position is available to motivated professionals looking for a challenge. Foremen will lead and work alongside a maintenance crew of 2-4 team members, ensuring daily tasks are completed on time and in a safe manner. Administrational Responsibilities: 5. Keep track of your team’s daily times and job times on provided mobile devices. 6. Complete weekly inspections on assigned truck, trailer, and equipment. Report any discrepancies, broken equipment, missing equipment, etc. 7. Leave behind proper notifications with residential customers following visits. Operational Responsibilities: 11. Wash and complete preventive maintenance on assigned truck and equipment according to posted schedules. 12. Supervise the safe operation of all equipment assigned to your crew. 13. Take ownership of the accounts that are assigned to your crew. 14. Report any damage in the landscape (damaged trees, declining plant material, damaged property) to your manager immediately. 15. Perform assigned contract requirements in a timely manner, according to production goals, and quality standards on a daily basis. Leadership Responsibilities: 1. Follow and enforce company policies provided in the Turf TitanZ Handbook. 2. Lead by example. Conduct yourself as a professional at all times. 3. Promote a safe work environment. Understand company safety policies and ensure they are enforced. Report any accidents or unsafe work conditions in a timely manner. 4. You are directly responsible for mentoring and training those under your leadership. 5. Delegate tasks and give clear instructions. Requirements: 12. Minimum of high school diploma or GED. 13. Must have a minimum of 2 years of “professional” landscape maintenance experience. (Verified on Resume) 14. Must have a clean NCDL. 15. Must pass a drug test and background check. 16. Must be proficient with required equipment and tools to complete assigned work. 17. Have leadership skills and work well with a team. 18. Must have the ability to follow all company polices and lead your team BY EXAMPLE. 19. Must have the ability to pass safety, driver, and training courses within 180-day new hire period. 20. Must be able to lift 50lbs on a regular basis. 21. You must have the ability to build trust and respect from your team. (This can easily be obtained by working hard and following company policy.) Landscape Installation Foreman This position is available to self-motivated problem solvers looking to join a growing company. Foremen will oversee a crew of 2-4 team members, ensuring projects are completed on time and in a safe manner. Administrational Responsibilities: 8. Accurately keep track of your crew’s daily times and job times. 9. Ensure weekly inspections and maintenance are completed on assigned truck, trailer, and equipment. Any discrepancies, broken equipment, missing equipment, etc. are reported appropriately. 10. Ensure proper notifications are left behind with residential customers following visits; sod care and plant care guides. 11. Document materials used and ensure material purchases are acquired under proper PO’s. Operational Responsibilities: 16. Supervise safe operation of all equipment assigned to your crew. 17. Operate trenchers, excavators, skid steers, bed edgers, laser levels, and other various equipment. 18. Take ownership of the projects assigned to you to ensure they are completed under budget and up to quality standards. 19. Report any damage to landscape (damaged trees, declining plant material, damaged property) to your manager immediately. 20. Execute projects assigned while meeting man hour and material budgets. 21. Ensure assigned equipment is in safe working order by performing basic preventive maintenance. Leadership Responsibilities: 6. Follow and enforce company policies. 7. Lead by example. Conduct yourself as a professional at all times. 8. Promote a safe work environment. Understand company safety policies and ensure they are enforced. Report any accidents or unsafe work conditions in a timely manner. 9. Forman will be directly responsible for assigned crew in mentoring roles. Requirements: 1. Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in landscape installations. 2. Must be proficient in installing sod, mulch, retaining walls, patios, low voltage lighting, irrigation repairs, plant installation, drainage, and grading. 3. Must be able to operate track loader, mini excavator, trencher, and various other compact equipment. 4. Must be able to operate a transit/laser level. 5. Must have a clean NCDL. 6. Must pass a drug test and background check. 7. Have leadership skills and work well with a team. 8. Must have that ability to efficiently lead a team safely, while ensuring team members remain productive and downtime remains at minimum. 9. Must be a problem solver that requires minimum supervision. 10. Must have the ability to follow all company polices and lead your crews BY EXAMPLE. 11. Must have the ability to pass safety and driver training courses within 180 day new hire period. 12. Must have the ability to lift 50lbs on a regular basis. Benefits of Working Here: 1.
