The Republican Party has been dismantled from the inside out. It imploded on itself. The GOP has no identity. The Republican Party is currently in a crippled state. Adversity = opportunity. The GOP has an opportunity now to reinvent itself. They have the opportunity to put a fresh brand on their stuffy only reputation. They have several years to rebuild this brand before the next presidential election. This should be a time for growth and rebuilding. Just as a home is rebuilt bigger and better after a fire has burned it to the ground, the republicans have the same opportunity. Instead of rebuilding a bigger better party, the republicans just keep imploding. They no longer want to be associated with trump but they are afraid to break ties with him. It’s a bit like a person staying with an abusive spouse. There are many reasons for the GOP to dump Trump but they fear that they will never be loved again...
