I will take a leader who speaks of unity over a leader who perpetuates division any day.
The mentality of a person who praises unity is a mentality that I can respect.
Joe Biden has met with republicans more times in the last 6 weeks than Donald Trump met with Democrats in 4 YEARS!!!
The right and the left are note seeing eye to eye just yet but I very much appreciate that meetings are happening and conversations are being had.
The democrats hold all the power. The house, the senate and the White House. They could ignore the republicans and just chase their own agenda. We have seen that happen in recent years. Despite holding all the cards, Biden is encouraging unity. I am proud of that.
Division weakens a nation. We do not need to agree in order to unify.
