Local, well-established roofing contractor looking to hire an experienced roofer to repair clients’ existing roofing systems. Job Responsibilities • Repair roofs, including but not limited to replacing fasteners, replacing missing shingles and flashing, removing and replacing water damaged areas, filling punctures in roof, installing rain diverters, replacing pipe boot flashings, removing debris, reflashing skylights and chimneys, etc. • Establish scaffolding and other pieces of safety equipment • Follow safety procedures Job Skills & Qualifications Required: • Experience in roofing • Knowledge of different types of roofing systems (Shingles, TPO, Metal Panels, Wood Shake, etc.) • Valid Driver’s License & reliable transportation • Experience using various hand tools and equipment such as shingle cutters, ladders, scaffolds, etc. • Physical strength and good balance • Ability to work at heights for long hours in varying temperatures If interested, please call our office to discuss this employment opportunity further.
