Horizon Landscape Company located in Wyckoff, NJ, is seeking experienced and team oriented individuals to fill our Landscape and Maintenance Foremen and Laborers positions. Foreman and Laborers will be responsible for completing landscape installations and maintenance services efficiently, and work under our Division Supervisor. RESPONSIBILITIES Our Landscape and Maintenance Laborers position involves variety of service and installation tasks while maintaining company quality and safety standards. Direct activities on job site include but not limited to: Knowledge of landscape work (mulch, topsoil, stone, sod, hedge trimming, planting and flower installations, etc.) Experience with preparing trucks for the day, performing maintenance on equipment, ride on mowers, string trimmers/weed whackers, backpack blowers, hedge trimmers Hardscaping Masonry Plantings Safely and proficiently use hand tools Operate machinery Perform maintenance of small equipment FOREMAN: Manage and lead crew members during performance of projects Communication skills: Be able to communicate well with crew members, clients, and supervisor FOREMAN REQUIREMENTS: **MUST HAVE 2+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE AS LANDSCAPE AND MAINTENANCE FOREMAN** Able to operate Bobcats, Excavators, and other heavy construction equipment Valid Driver's License A MUST CDL License a PLUS Bilingual English/Spanish a PLUS Be able to follow directions and possess excellent mechanical aptitude Must be able to work outdoors in various conditions Must be respectful, honest, reliable, self-motivated, and possess positive attitude WHY WORK FOR HORIZON? *Paid time off, holiday pay, healthcare and retirement benefits *Weekly paycheck *Opportunities for growth *Friendly work environment Horizon Landscape Company combines a family culture in a corporate run company.
