KinderWild Camp is a fun, nature-based, hands-on program for 3-5 year-olds with a focus on nature and outdoor education.

Winter session through March 12, 2021. Spring session available April 9 - May 28, 2021!Fridays, 7:30am-4:00pm OR join us for just the morning (7:30-11:15am) or afternoon (12:15-4pm).
Check-in begins at 7:30amFor youth ages 3-5.Maximum16 participants (first come, first served). Participants should bring a morning/afternoon snack, and lunch for those staying all day.Children should be prepared with appropriate clothing to spend a bulk of their day outside.Weekly topics may include:
common shapes appearing in nature as a way of understanding the function of shapes. become aware of how the bark of different trees varies in texture and describe a variety of textures found in leaves and other tree parts. water investigation and conservation. identify sounds and map their location in the environment. sounds in nature explore the different modes of transportation people use and explore simple ways to improve the quality of air we breathe. diversity of life on earth by looking at different plants and animals from around the world. learn about how many different products we get from trees. learning about where waste goes and how to recycle! learn about what it takes to be a bird! Learn about our feathered friends together, and get a chance to meet our very own hawk, Apollo! discover how plants and animals depend on trees in many ways. discover the power of wind and air! Enjoy craft time, windy games, and more!
