Volt is looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the daily warehousing activities. You will implement production, productivity, quality and customer service standards and achieve the appropriate level of volume within time limits. Responsibilities:Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching and assuring quality of goodsMeasure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employees performanceOrganize and maintain inventory and storage areaEnsure shipments’ and inventory transactions’ accuracyCommunicate job expectations and coach employeesDetermine staffing levels and assign workloadInterface with customers to answer questions or solve problemsMaintain items record, document necessary information and utilize reports to project warehouse statusIdentify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practicesConfer and coordinate activities with other departments Requirements:At least 5 years of warehouse supervisor experience or similar.Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations and managementExcellent team leadership and organizational skills.Problem solving abilities with strong communication and interpersonal skills.Strong attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry software.Requires Bachelor of Science degree in Supply Management, Accounting, Business or other related discipline. Bachelor’s degree requirement may be met with an appropriate combination of education and work experience. Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
