Great opportunity to work at a brand-new luxury apartment complex! Apartment Maintenance Technician Responsibilities: - Accurately complete and record resident and management work orders including unit turnovers to completion in a timely manner with a focus on customer service - Responsible for compliance with all OSHA regulations and MA applicable health, safety, and environment laws - On-call rotation for after-hours emergencies including some weekends and holidays -Promote and maintain a high standard in the appearance and curb appeal of the property including general grounds keeping and exterior maintenance - Paint and drywall repair: Patching, painting and refinishing - Carpentry: Adjusting doors, cabinet repair, installations of woodwork, etc. - Plumbing: Repair and replacement of fixtures. Leak repair and unclogging of drains - Electrical: Troubleshooting and replacement of switches, circuit breakers and fixtures - HVAC: Troubleshooting and preventative maintenance of heating and air condition systems - Proper care of company tools and equipment Requirements and Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent certification preferred - Previous experience in building maintenance or similar trades - Basic computer skills. Email and work order software - Valid MA driver’s license with reliable transportation - EPA certificate a plus Physical Requirements: - Regularly required to stand, walk, reach and use arms to perform tasks - Regular use of various machines and tools - Frequently required to sit, stoop, crouch, kneel, crawl, balance, climb stairs and ladders, work at heights and in environments with various temperature ranges both indoor and out - Regularly required to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs., occasionally required to lift 75 lbs. **All job offers contingent upon satisfactory background check and drug screening**
