NYC based rock cover band seeking skilled bass player (backing vocals a plus) Our two year old band has lead vocals, guitar, keyboard/backing vocals, and drums/backing vocals. Walk in situation. Our set list is a mix of classic rock, blues rock, and modern rock covers...and a few original songs. Everyone has song input within that framework. Seeking a person that dovetails with that mix and wants to build with us long term. Read that sentence again. We are hardworking, collaborative musicians with lots of gig experience in successful cover bands, looking to find someone friendly to make good music with and play out for fun, make some $ to cover expenses. All current members have busy professional and family obligations outside of music. Open to any age or gender as long as you are passionate and goal oriented about making good music and can communicate/collaborate/create. Read that sentence again. 8-10 gigs per year, schedules permitting, and a manageable commitment of one 2 to 3 hour rehearsal per week. Until live performance returns to NYC, please be down to make music in the studio weekly because that’s what you love doing.
