Smith Gardens is hiring Seasonal Greenhouse Staff! Our Business is Growing! Smith Gardens is a Wholesale Nursery company that is headquartered in Bellingham Washington, and is family owned for over 100 years with facilities in three states. Apply today to become a seasonal staff member, positions include: • Planting: Planting plugs/bulbs. • Watering: Water plants based on specifications • Moving: Move and space plants within and between greenhouses • Selecting: Selecting the best plants to fill orders • Staging: Stage the plants onto racks based on orders • Loading: Load racks full of plants onto trucks bound for delivery (this position typically works from noon until the work is completed) Successful Candidate will have the following: • All positions require working up to approx. 55 hours per week, without overtime pay due to agriculture industry. • Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds • Flexibility: department needs, start times, and plans change based on the weather/season • Ability to work in seasonal conditions: inside and outside of greenhouses, and in dirty areas that are cold, humid/wet, and hot. • ATV experience is strongly preferred (slightly higher pay rate) For more information, please call 360.685.5242 To learn more about our company please go to www.smithgardens.com Compensation: $14.00 per hour (no overtime due to agriculture industry) Smith Gardens is and E-verify participant.
