Reliability is an absolute MUST! Ideal candidate will be able to continue long term. This is an entry level position, CLEANING STALLS! It’s physically demanding and requires an individual with the ability to work unsupervised. I do not want to babysit, nor nag. This is not a come play with horses type of job, it’s work, it’s not glamorous, like Hollywood. If you plan to show up for a week and change your mind because it’s hard or early or cleaning stalls like mentioned above, please don’t waste my time. I’m picky, I take care of every horse on my property as if they were my own. This isn’t some corporate fast food position that you can call in sick to, or not care about. It’s rewarding for a true horseman wanting to be a part of a top notch training facility and work their way up the old fashioned way, (with sweat and a smile) or hard worker that wants a side gig that’s motivated to do a good job, work hard and fast, and get in and get out. RV SPACE AVAILABLE TO TRADE! (Rates to be discussed) Please DM with relevant experience, (if your grandmothers uncles cousin had horses that you pet when you were three THAT DOESNT COUNT!!!!) why you wish to obtain the position, (honestly you will be making more money per hour than I do) three references, and availability for interviews. If you cannot follow all of the above instructions, or read this ad in entirety, I will not respond, as you have officially ignored my requests and I haven’t even hired you! Applicant must be prepared and willing to conduct a hands on, working interview in which they can demonstrate basic equine handling skills as well as answer horse husbandry questions. (I cannot count the times I’ve been lied to, if you don’t have experience or have little experience but can operate a pitch fork and wheelbarrow and follow basic instructions and really impress me I may consider training you) Job Type: Part-time
