Learn about hydroponic gardening with USU Botanical Center staff in our Walk and Talk Class Series held at the USU Botanical Center.
Hydroponics refers to a production method where plants are grown in a nutrient solution rather than soil. Hydroponics can allow for year-round vegetable and herb production. Taught by USU Botanical Center staff, this class will cover the basics of hydroponics, plant selection, and the research being done within these systems.
The event will be held at the USU Botanical Center and will occur rain or shine. Ticket required for admission. Tickets are non-refundable. Participants will be walking through gardens. Please meet at the Edible Demonstration Garden and wear appropriate footwear and dress appropriately for weather conditions.
