Trained 3 year old male husky

Description

Due to unfortunate circumstances, I have to rehome my Siberian Husky. He went to a three-week training camp and is very mannerful on a leash. The trainer/instructor offers unlimited follow-up sessions if you meet halfway (he lives in Northern Sacramento). He's obedient. He can heel, sit, lay, and stay on command. The sitting/laying/staying is a bit harder for him outside of the home but can be done outside if he's calm- not excited or distracted. He is VERY outgoing. Always happy to meet new people. So he won't take any time to adjust. Like all huskies, he's energetic, but truthfully only needs ~40 min of walking per day (20min 2x). The more, the merrier, though. He would not do well in a home with kids under 10yo or so. He can get jumpy and mouthy (but won't bite), and loves to use his paws to play. He's an escape artist, and the shelter said he shouldn't be in a home with an unsecured backyard. So if you have a fence, it should be tamperproof. He escaped his prev. owner's home and was a stray until found. He has all of his shots, microchipped, AKC registered and is neutered. I have all of his adoption paperwork and I'll pass that down to you. I am asking a $500 rehoming fee to recollect a small amount of money spent on his training. Most craigslist posters ask for similar rehoming fees exclusively for the dog itself. So this is totally worth it. Willing to negotiate a bit, but keep in mind that training was very pricey. About $2400-$4000 in SF. I will also throw in his crate, toys, treats, leashes/harness, brushes (and a Furminator), and whatever food is left at the time. Easily $200+ in extras. If you're looking for your first husky, this is the one. If interested, please reach out and we'll chat over a call for a bit.
