MAGNUM COMPANIES Coon Rapids, MN First Shift Second Shift Magnum LTD of Coon Rapids is immediately seeking a Diesel Mechanic to add to the team! Duties will include diagnostics, maintenance and repair of diesel engines on semi tractors/trailers in our new shop facility located near Northtown Mall! Inspections and repair of Semi-tractors, trailers and Reefer units according to DOT guidelines and industry standards. Must be familiar with mechanical and technical aspects of semi tractor engine repair using diagnostic computer software to identify and resolve service issues Computer literate, dependable, a team player! Experience with various welders and tools used in making all types of repairs on semi-trailers Ability to operate various types of welding equipment to make necessary repairs Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position as a heavy duty truck and trailer mechanic/technician is required. High School Diploma or equivalent. Post secondary training and/or certification as a diesel mechanic is preferred. Will consider an apprentice level technician at a lower starting wage scale. Hours: First Shift: Wednesday - Saturday, 6:00am - 4:30pm (3 day weekends every week!)
