Former teacher who had her own licensed home-based French preschool program and experience teaching French in a Montessori classroom (preschool and elementary level), is offering at-home French immersion for your child(ren). I am a creative, dedicated educator who thrives in designing custom, engaging curriculums that include: - French immersion - practical life activities - play-based and nature-based learning experiences - outings to local places of interest for young children (when possible after Covid). I am looking forward to working with 1-3 children (can be from different families), ideally between the ages of 2.5 and 5 y.o. Part-time position (mornings preferred), then possibly full-time after a couple months. Hourly rate to be discussed, depending on number of hours per week, number of children, location. - Native French speaker - Experience as a teacher (including French immersion teacher) - Familiar with Montessori activities - Passion for developing play-based, engaging interactions which promote language-learning (songs, puppets, story-telling, cooking, "making things", learning sounds and numbers, etc.) - 12 ECE (Early Childhood Education) Units - Very COVID-cautious, extremely limited social interactions.
