Reliable, COVID-Conscious House Cleaner

We are looking for a dedicated housecleaner who can do deep cleaning for us every other week. Rate: $15-22/hr. NOTE: ONLY accepting applicants who live in Kitsap County About Us: A young, friendly, socially-minded professional couple on Bainbridge Island (no kids, one cat) who need someone to deep clean and tidy our home every other week. We would like to find someone we can build a long-term relationship with. We are very COVID-conscious and need to limit the number of people who are in our home. Job Responsibilities: • Bathroom cleaning: clean and sanitize sink, faucets, shower, shower door, floor, toilet, etc. • Kitchen cleaning: Stovetop, sinks, oven, appliances, countertops, etc. • Dusting throughout the house: Shelves, window sills, light fixtures, drapes, door frames, walls, corners, etc. • Floor cleaning throughout the house: Vacuum and steam mop floors, stairs, landings, areas under furniture, etc. • Wipe down surfaces throughout the house: Counter tops, table tops, light switches, door handles, window latches, railings, mirrors, etc. • A detailed checklist will be provided along with all nontoxic and eco-friendly cleaning supplies and equipment. The Ideal Candidate: • A detail-oriented and meticulous cleaner • Impeccably honest • Reliable, dependable, and punctual • Easygoing, personable, service-oriented, and flexible • Has a gift and passion for making beautiful, peaceful spaces • Is willing and able to commit to a consistent schedule – this is a big priority • Self-motivated and enjoys seeing what needs to be done and doing it • Has experience home cleaning for people with allergies • Has references • Has own vehicle • An interest in yoga, meditation or similar practice is a plus! We can only consider candidates who have been limiting their own contact with others outside of their own home and who have been uncompromising about mask wearing and social distancing.
