Description
SHARON, MA — Sharon police are investigating a racist act of vandalism that was found Thursday morning at Cottage Street School, according to a Twitter post from the department.
Police say they received a report that a racial slur was faintly etched into an outside window at a rear entrance to the school, but was buffed out before they arrived.
Officers believe that the vandalism occurred between 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24 and 8 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 25.
Because there were no cameras in that area, police are asking the public to contact them with any information at 781-784-1587 or by using the Sharon Police Department tip line.
