MassDOT To Start Overnight Work On I-95 Bridge In Norwood

NORWOOD, MA — The I-95 bridge over the Neponset River in Norwood will be undergoing some maintenance work this week. The Massachusetts Department of Transportation is planning to conduct overnight bridge maintenance operations on I-95 northbound and southbound in Norwood. Work is scheduled for 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday and should be done by Thursday. At least two lanes will stay open while bridge maintenance goes on. Traffic control will include standard traffic set-ups and police details. Lanes will be completely open during non-work hours. Drivers who are traveling through the affected areas should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution. All scheduled work is weather dependent and/or may be impacted due to an emergency.
