Press release from the Norwood Historical Society: 2021-03-01 Norwood Bowladrome Burns, Hub Has Two Fires, Lawrence One Thu, Mar 1, 1962 – The Boston Globe (Boston, Massachusetts) Firemen battled a general alarm blaze in a bowladrome at daybreak today shortly after five alarms were sounded for two intown Boston fires. The Norwood fire was the most spectacular of a series of blazes in the Eastern Massachusetts area. This press release was produced by the Norwood Historical Society.
