Renewable Energy Company is seeking full-time Mechanic position to assist with constructing, maintaining, and operating our facilities. Qualified candidates for this role will have mechanical skills and at least 1 year of experience a commercial or industrial environment and an eagerness to learn and grow with our company. Experience and aptitude with basic plumbing, hvac, wiring, and/or light fabrication/construction a plus. The duties and responsibilities of this role include: • Assists with maintaining components for mechanical and electrical systems. • Assists with repairs and new construction/fabrication of industrial systems. • Prepares components for mechanical systems. • Operates a broad variety of equipment and hand/power tools in a safe and efficient manner. • Supports the daily operations of an industrial facility. • Provides general and detailed clean-up of the work and production area. • Helps maintain a positive work environment. Additional responsibilities: • Assists with loading/unloading of supplies and equipment. • Assists with packaging/crating of equipment for return to vendors. • Participates in company safety trainings, certifications, and follows safety practices. Qualifications: • Training in Mechanics, Manufacturing, Welding, Construction or similar field. • At least 2 years of experience in an industrial setting. • Must be familiar with the basic tools related to mechanical maintenance. • Experience operating a fork lift, man lift, or loader or willingness to be trained and certified. • Ability to listen to and follow instructions and safe practices. • Ability to lift 50 pounds and sit and stand for extended periods of time.
