Saint Archer Brewery x Pink Boots Society Hazy and Tart IPA brewed with pineapple, orange, and coconut
For the fourth year in a row, we've leaned on the women within our company to write our Pink Boots recipe, brew and cellar the beer, design the can art, and take the overall lead on the product. This year we decided to imitate the famous cocktail "The Painkiller." The original Painkiller was created in the 1970's by Daphne Henderson at The Soggy Dollar Barat White Bay on the island of Jost Van Dyke in the British Islands. The cocktail consists of pineapple, coconut, orange, and rum. Omitting the rum, we've created the closest representation of the cocktail in beer form. We blended a hazy IPA with a sour beer base, dry hopped the product with a firm amount of the 2020 Pink Boots Blend, and recirculated fresh fruit throughout. We couldn't be happier with the end result.
