Description

ATTLEBORO, MA — The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) closed the South Attleboro Station on the Providence/Stoughton Commuter Rail Line Friday evening due to safety concerns, according to a post on the MBTA website. The MBTA said the closure is a result of "deteriorating structural conditions on the pedestrian overpass" and has not provided an update on potential repairs. The agency is encouraging passengers to use Attleboro Station as an alternative. The South Attleboro Station will be closed until further notice.
