SoulPhamm United is registering for its performing arts programs serving young people throughout New Jersey:
Girls' Hip-Hop Majorette (Ages 8 to 18)Girls' Cheerleading (Ages 8 to 12)Girls' Step Team (Ages 12 to 18)Boys'/Girls' Drumline (Ages 10 to 18)Boys' Hip-Hop Dance/Step Team (Ages 10 to 18)
The teams practice
virtually (via Zoom) until pandemic related restrictions are fully
lifted. Whenever we are permitted to meet again in person, we will use
the Pearl Studios located on Eighth Avenue between West 35th/West 36th
Streets in Manhattan and will also meet outdoors once the weather
breaks, observing all applicable rules.
Both online and in-person practices for all teams EXCEPT the Drumline are only held on Saturdays from 2pm to 3pm. The Drumlines meet virtually twice a week at 4pm but their in-person practices are ALSO on Saturdays.
All teams are beginner friendly and in a "normal environment" are trained
for local, regional and national high-visibility performances and
competitions.
Registration is FREE while there are slots available. While the teams are practicing online, the program is also FREE.
Once we return to in-person practice, dues are $20 per week and we generally practice for three Saturdays out of the month.
The boys' hip-hop dance program is COMPLETELY FREE for this season only.
