French Immersion PlayDates: Spring 2021 Now Scheduling

Spring/Summer 2021 informal meet and greet this Saturday, March 6th, 1:00pm at Dale Drive Neighborhood Park in Sligo Creek Park near the corner of Piney Branch and Sligo Creek Pkwy (see tennis courts) Hi, I'm Mary, aka Madame Marie, 12 year MCPC substitute teacher, 8 years working in French Immersion, 6 years working privately with families in French Immersion. Everyone seems ready to get started, so here we go! Current play dates are for K-2 grades. If you have a small group of families with 3rd and 4th graders, reach out and we can put something together. Playdates will be outdoors and follow CDC guidelines - we will start with a max of 6 kiddies per date and see from there. **Children must have some background in the French language - this is an immersive situation which does not teach French and does not work if the child doesn't already have some foundation in the language. Dates will be a mix of, but not be limited to; storytime, discussion, creative activities, nature walks and playground time. Please message for more information and to RSVP for the meet and greet, which will be a super informal hour or so where everyone can put (masked lol) faces to names and ask additional questions. This also gives the kiddies a chance to meet/play together in the security of their parent's presence before being dropped off for an actual scheduled playdate.
