This six hour training will guide formal and informal educators in the integration of Project WILD activiites into their curriculum.
Project WILD is a supplemental curriculum that blends science, technology, engineering, art, language arts, social studies, and math. The lessons are designed to be active and many can be used as project based learning units or service learning units. For the early learner the activities are designed to stimulate cognitive development with an emphasis on the five senses. As learners age the activities progressively engage system and analytic thinking.
This program is useful for both formal and informal educators with tips to maximize an environmental education experience.
