Description
Do you enjoy helping people? Are you able to teach basic skills for daily living? If you are someone who likes to help others to achieve their goals and are able to mentor a young adult who needs support in her community, this position may be just what you are looking for.
Our client is in need of someone to support her in learning skills for independence. Her morning routine includes going to the gym, volunteering at a local thrift store and exploring other opportunities in the community. At home, provide guidance and support with light household chores, meal preparation and budgeting. Working together to find community activities and events of interest would also be a part of this position.
You Must:
Have a High School Diploma and 1 year of Direct Support Experience
Have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
Be willing to follow the Individual's Support Plan
The hours for this position are from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm 3 days per week
$14.00/hour plus mileage reimbursement
