Objective: Ability to drive Tractor/trailer for delivery of product. Ensure timely and bio secure delivery of product(s) to target destination(s). ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS · Ability to drive tractor/trailer to deliver products · CDL with Air Brakes for driving and delivering product. Hazmat preferred. · Understanding and adherence to Bio-securityrules and requirements · Comfortable with scheduled overnight truck routes. HOME ON WEEKENDS. · Excellent customer service on product delivery routes. · Assist in warehouse with picking, packing and shipping of packages MARGINAL FUNCTIONS · Forklift operation · Inventory counts and controls · Attend meetings as needed · Miscellaneous tasks as assigned POSITION SPECIFICATIONS Education: High school diploma/GED preferred, not required. CDL holder or able to obtain soon after hiring. We will assist with CDL course and training. Experience: Truck driving experience +2 years preferred If interested in acquiring CDL, Pipestone willtrain Work Environment: High paced, high-energy atmosphere. Forklift, pallet jacks and other machines/equipment that may be loud Friendly atmosphere with great team unity Physical Requirements: Standing, walking and ability to be on feet8 to 10 hours per day Frequent bending, reaching, squatting and kneeling Frequent use of one or both hands/arms to grasp or pull Frequent lifting of objects weighing 0-50 pounds Occasional bending while pulling and/or lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds, or requiring up to 50 pounds of force to move Occasional bending while pulling and/or lifting objects weighing up to 100 pounds or requiring up to 100 pounds of force to move with the assistance of another person as needed Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing Ability to attend and participate in meetings of various lengths Additional Requirements: Must be able to work as needed to complete job (night/weekend/etc.) Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to get to work and attend meetings
