A Heart of Remembrance: Women's Conference The ladies of Galilee Baptist Church invite you to our Women's Conference ("Faith over Fear: Trusting God in Troubled Times"), on Saturday, April 24, 2021 starting at 10am. Come out early and join us- beginning at 900am for breakfast pastries, coffee, and juice with registration beginning at 9:30am. Mrs. Heather Dewberry and Mrs. Elizabeth Loyd will be our guest speakers for this event. Heather and her husband, Kevin, are residents of New Hope, along with their 3 daughters. They attend Sheepgate Christian Fellowship in Paint Rock, where they serve as Associate Pastors. Heather attended and graduated from Wallace State Community College with a degree in Science. She later went through the Alabama Dental Hygiene Program at UAB- and has been a dental hygienist for 20 years. Heather is an AWESOME woman of God, genuine, and people loving. You can feel the Spirit of God flowing from her. I'm so blessed that I had the honor of meeting this sweet lady 2 years ago. Elizabeth (Betsy) and her husband, Troy, are current residents of Scottsboro, along with their son, Logan. They currently attend Trinity Baptist Church in Scottsboro, where she serves on the Church Mission Team and with with their Children's and Youth Ministries. Betsy attended and graduated from Northeast State in 1992, Athens State in 1994, and University of Alabama in 2005, with degrees in Visual Arts and Education and has been teaching for 24 years. She is currently an Art Teacher at Madison County Elementary and New Hope Elementary Schools- where she also serves as Fellowship of Christian Students and Athletes Sponsor. Betsy is a God fearing woman of God, sweet, humble, and genuine. Come out for an uplifting, spiritual day. This is an event you don't want to miss. Lunch will be served after the conference.
