Naturalist-led guided nature walk to learn about, listen and see spring amphibians. There's nothing quite like the echoing sound of wood frogs and peepers filling the springtime forest. Join us for a hike where we will visit our vernal pools and hear and hopefully see frogs & other amphibians active in the spring, while learning about their life cycle, seasonal habits, mating, and survival strategies. Mud or rain boots are recommended! Plan to arrive at 12:45pm for check-in; class will start promptly at 1:00pm. Masks must be worn throughout; social distancing will be maintained to the extent possible. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. No dogs please. Parking is available in the outer lot on Snake Den Rd, or you may drive in through the outer gate and park near the main brick building. Non-refundable; in the case of inclement weather, program will be rescheduled.
