Position: Mover Reports to: VP, Vending Services Summary The Mover is responsible for the daily moving of vending machines from location to location and as assigned by the VP, Vending Services. The Mover reports directly to the VP, Vending Services. Duties & Responsibilities ● Movers are responsible for loading/unloading trucks, providing excellent customer service and maintaining a professional demeanor at all times ● Driving company vehicle to job sites ● Documenting any damages to vending machines, including pre-existing damage ● Performing vending cleaning as needed ● Using time efficiently, prioritizing safety and customers, to complete daily tasks ● Communicating with the team in order to prep for incoming vending machines ● Maintaining responsibility for quality of work done on each job ● Any other related duties as assigned by management Knowledge, Skills and Abilities ● Previous experience as a mover ● Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills; ability to interact with managers and coworkers in a professional, courteous manner ● Drive to accomplish goals, meet deadlines and find solutions; ability to multitask and prioritize effectively ● Able to work both independently, and as a team ● Attention to detail & accuracy ● Ability to thrive in a busy environment Requirements ● Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently; majority of lifting from knee to shoulder heights; other lifting required from various levels ● Ability to regularly transport up to 60 pounds up to 20 feet ● Ability to lift, twist, crawl, grab, climb, or perform similar activities as needed ● Ability to stand for long periods of time with frequent stretching, reaching, walking and stooping, pushing and/or pulling in an environment that may be cold, hot, noisy, and wet and may have fumes or odors due to vehicle maintenance ● Requires driving to and from accounts based on scheduled service ● Ability to pass a background check for access to military bases, closed campuses, etc. ● Ability to understand and implement safe and efficient freight handling and lifting procedures ● Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed ● Must adhere to regular and predictable attendance Qualifications ● High school diploma or equivalent required ● Valid California class C driver license; must have and maintain a acceptable driving record (no more than two moving violations in the last three years); no DUIs
