Production Grinder All Star Labor & Staffing is hiring a Production Grinder for a company that is the market leader in manufacturing high quality, tractor-trailer coupling components. We are seeking top quality candidates, which meet our clients requirements. Must be self-motivated with high energy and a positive, team attitude. Strong Production Grinder candidates will have the following: Able to work on feet for an 8-10 hour shift. Manual dexterity and strength to operate hand tools. Excellent attendance & punctuality. Ability to work in a fast-paced, production environment. Self-motivated. Team player that gets along well with others. Production Grinder Job description: Use grinding tools on metal castings to remove parting lines & excess material, blend & smooth areas, and size holes. Grinding with hand-held die grinders, fixed pedestal wheel grinder & belt sanders. QC parts with fixtures/jigs. Work is performed while standing at workbench and various work stations. Parts weight 15-25 lbs. on average, but can weigh up to 45lbs. Good hand-eye coordination. Grinding experience not necessary. Prefer some sort of mechanical experience or aptitude.
