Hey, I'm a 37 yr old musician located in Fort Collins, and I am looking to collaborate on songwriting and recording. We could decide together how to share our recordings, or attempt to monetize them.You can hear some examples of my recent and original work in the link below. Two out of the three songs are my solo projects, and "Colloidal" was a long distance collaboration (drummer and a different bass player wrote and recorded their own parts). I wrote, mixed and mastered all songs on this newly minted Soundcloud page. https://m.soundcloud.com/garrett-glover I play guitar and bass proficiently, intermediate skill level on drums, and I'm beginning to encorporate synth as well. My current focus in songwriting is progressive rock/metal, and clean, ambient tunes. My top 3 (well known) influences are Tool, Radiohead, and Pink Floyd. I would like to collaborate with a drummer, vocalist, and a keyboard/synth player. You could do all, or just one, but if our skill levels and styles match appropriately, let's see about testing the waters on a track or two. If interested, send a recording or link (or preferably a few) that feature your original work. You may need to send files directly b/c craigslist has limits on email size, it seems. Just reach out if you need to send files. I record in my home using my own gear, and I would prefer if you have the ability and experience to record your own parts. Happy to assist in that, but collaboration for now will need to be from a distance.
