Farmscape is seeking a full-time skilled and experienced Landscape Foreman. 5pm. The crew installs vegetable gardens, orchards, vineyards, and sustainable landscapes. Job Responsibilities Job Preparation: Prepare project estimates based on site design, including work breakdown structure for project, cost estimation, and determine sourcing; Plan, source, and schedule for installations once approved by client; Communicate with clients regarding scheduling, site logistics, etc. Site Management & Landscape Installation: Read site plans and ensure site layout is consistent with site design; proactively communicate with Sales & Design team regarding project details; Maintain organized vehicle, tools, and inventory to ensure seamless operation of job site and workflow; Manage & supervise crew members on installing landscape projects at residential and commercial sites, with scope including but not limited to: hardscaping, masonry, carpentry, and irrigation. Work effectively and efficiently with specialized equipment, including: Skid Steer Loader, Plate compactor, Jack Hammer, Auger, Trencher, Mitre and circular saws; Communicate with client regarding job progress and change orders, as necessary; Track job expenses for projects and communicate with Billing once job phases are complete and ready to invoice; Management - Personnel & Training: Complete administrative tasks such as time card approvals and performance reviews; Train installation crew in Farmscape best practices; Assist with creation and updating of best practice documentation; Qualifications 3+ years experience in landscape construction Ability to lift 75 lbs Start Date: February 2021 Location: Los Angeles Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 6:30am-5:00pm Status: Full time, exempt Salary: $50,000-$70,000/year Benefits: Health insurance, 401(k) plan with employer matching, Profit Sharing, FSA & Dependent Care plan, Paid vacation, Monthly Smartphone reimbursement, Mileage reimbursement and contribution towards protective footwear.
