Whole Earth Landscape & Design, established in 1989, is an ecologically sound landscape design & installation company (no lawn mowing) specializing in high end residential properties in the Harvard, Ma area. We are searching for an experienced & motivated landscape technician to join our team as we head into the 2021 season working on patio, wall and horticultural installations of our own quality designs. If you feel you are a positive individual and possess the following skills, then there is a place for growth with our team. Description: Mostly a hands-on, multifaceted field position. Reading Project Plans to assist in the execution of projects. Operate Mini excavator, Bobcat, Dingo to complete site work. Prepare base foundation for Hardscape/Masonry including flatwork, cobble work and stone walls. Install masonry, plant material, sitework. Some maintenance work required. (clean-ups, edging, weeding, mulching) Requirements/Skills: Minimum of 2 years Landscape experience Ability to read plans and calculate volume and square footage. Ability to operate company equipment: Bobcat, excavator, Dingo etc. Highly organized and effective communicator to vendors, staff, customers and office. Layout and use of laser site level. Masonry skills Horticulture- Plant ID, pruning, perennial knowledge are all helpful. Possess a valid driver’s license and hydraulic License. Driving truck & trailer.
