Ready for Rescue (a 501 3 C non-profit rescue group) is desperately trying to help Sasha, an 11-year-old Shep mix who is declining at a shelter in Babylon Long Island. She was a victim of neglect and was seized and now faces the possibility of spending the rest of her life in a shelter. She has some medical issues such as arthritis (we cover expenses for that) but we are looking for a loving, understanding home where she can spend her golden years. She is selective with other dogs so should be the only pup in the home.
